This project is funded by Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, Japan. Society for the Promotion of Science. This project will develop a practical theory and market mechanisms for the allocation of precious, by synthesizing/extending technologies from computer science and micro economics. This project is carried out by van interdisciplinary research team that consists of leading Japanese researchers in computer science and micro economics. Specific research topics include:
- mechanism design for auction and matching
- concise representation schemes for cooperative games
- discrete convex analysis
- equilibrium analysis of repeated gams based on POMDP
