The main research field in our laboratory is multi-agent systems, where multiple intelligent agents coexist.
Especially, our research focuses on systems where humans and software agents interact and coordinate. Specific research topics include two-sided matching and auctions, for which we model agents’ behaviors based on game theory and micro-economics, and develop/analyze social decision rules based on algorithm theory and optimization.
